After SPIN! Video: Do shift workers need new laws and protections?

Published March 28, 2017

After SPIN! "Question to Chris Fitzsimon and Becki Gray – A bill introduced last week would affect retailers and their workers. Called the Retail Workers’ Bill of Rights the legislation, if passed, would require employers to give retail employees their work schedules at least two weeks in advance, provide new hires with estimates of how many shifts they will work each month and pay employees for cancelled shifts or on-call shifts where they didn’t work. The Retail Merchants Association opposes the proposals. What’s your take and tell us what chances it has to pass."
