After SPIN! Video: Legislators lose in court, who do taxpayers get stuck with the bill?

After SPIN! "Question to John and Chris – Legislators changed the districts for Wake County County Commissioners and Board of Education. The new districts were challenged in court and the legislators lost, but now we learn that taxpayers will be forced to pay more than $400,000 in legal fees and court costs. This is like a heads I win, tails you lose story because taxpayers are on the hook for actions lawmakers took. Is this right? Should there be more of a penalty when the actions of our legislature result in such costly outcomes?"
