After SPIN! Video -"What's your reaction to the recent Survey USA poll?"

After SPIN! "Question to Brad Crone and Becki Gray – Survey USA just released the results of a poll taken among 600 voters in our state. They learned that 50 percent of the respondents don’t approve of the job President Trump is doing and more than 50 percent believe America is on the wrong track. They believe North Carolina is on the right track and give Governor Cooper much higher approval ratings than our legislature. We’d like your reactions to this poll."

Miss Becky is right. This teacher strike is NOT about pay or the kids. It's about the union and stirring up demoncrat voters.

Big question is though, why is this strike taking place so far from the general election? Wouldn't this have more of an impact on union supporters and demoncrat voters if it happened closer to the election, when it would be fresh in the minds of those who typically do NOT pay attention to politics? You know, the average demoncrat voter who gets interested in voting about 1 week before it's time to go to the polls. And if the strike were planned for the fall, not only would it be fresh in minds, but parents would have a chance to plan for this. And if this strike had any merit, it would happen on a NON-SCHOOL DAY or after school lets out. But the union decided to strike during school, during end of year testing, because it will have the most impact on families. And if they waited to strike AFTER the legislature handed out another raise, it would prove the lie to their cause. It would prove that their goal is to stir up demon voters, and not for the kids as demon pols always claim.

When teachers have been given raises several years in a row. Teachers are promised more money. What's the motivation to strike now? Demon votes! No other answer. Cuz it sure has nothing to do with the kids or improving education.

And the bogus argument about 'national average teacher pay' is a lie. Not only because every time some place raises teacher pay it skews the average, but because it takes NOTHING else into consideration. When making this bogus comparison, it's necessary to take California, New York, and Illinois, at the least, out of the equation. Cost of living MUST be taken into account to make it a somewhat valid comparison. But the union doesn't want to do this because it will PROVE the lie.

Love teachers. Hate bogus unions. Despise stikes, but only when it's so obviously bogus. Worked for a union once, and only once, and knew that I would cross the picket line immediately if they chose to strike. Couldn't wait to get out of that job and will never belong to a union again. I want to stand on my own merit, not someone elses bargaining for me.
