After SPIN! "Question to Becki Gray and Brad Crone – Recently syndicated columnist George Will wrote a column about a Winston-Salem surgeon who runs a medical diagnostic imaging center but he cannot fully do so without an MRI machine. He says he can provide an MRI for $500 to $700 whereas North Carolinas hospitals charge an average of $2,000. There has been a lot of talk about CON reforms but our legislature won’t pass them. Why? What’s it going to take to ease the barriers for surgical and imaging procedures?"
