The action by the Governor to bar members of advocacy groups from media events benefits the public. It is a disservice to the public to have advocacy groups masquerading as media. It is deceitful to consider advocacy groups as unbiased journalism. They are at the event solely to use the event to present their own biased viewpoint.

Frank Burns says:

Advocacy groups are being paid to present their point of view and to whine about those politicians that don't agree with them. The taxpayer has no advocacy groups but always has to pick up the tab for the mischief created by these advocacy groups. It was appropriate to kick them out of any public events. The NC taxpayer is grateful.
