Jack Bailey joined GlaxoSmithKline in 2009 to lead the Private, Public and Institutional Customers (PPIC) division for US Pharma. This division pulls together Public Policy & Patient Advocacy, Government Affairs, Payer Markets and Medical Center Sales, ensuring a holistic approach to U.S. health care policy, funding and institutional delivery. In addition Jack has responsibility for GSK’s Puerto Rican operations and recently acquired the Vaccines team. Prior to joining GSK, Jack enjoyed a successful eighteen-year career with Eli Lilly, most recently serving as Senior Vice President, Account-based Markets Division. Jack had a series of roles of increasing importance while with Lilly, including general manager for Eli Lilly South Africa and later Area Director for the Sub-Saharan region. Jack received his BS in biology with a concentration in genetics from Hobart College, Geneva, New York and his MBA at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Jack and his wife, Robin reside in Raleigh, North Carolina with their two children, Emily and John.
