Must-see NC SPIN this week

| August 23, 2018

It’s been an incredibly interesting week and we have an outstanding panel to talk about it,  beginning with wondering whether or not our Supreme Court Justices will face impeachment, with the legislature clarify the wording on two proposed constitutional amendments or will a higher court reverse the decision not to allow the amendments to be voted upon on November 6th?  Monday night’s Silent Sam toppling has reverberated all over the nation and our panel will discuss the incident as well as the decision by the Historical Commission this week. If there’s time we want to ask about whether UNC’s football team should boycott the NCAA over the sale of football shoes and, as always, we ask the panel to tell us something we don’t know.

As we said, this week’s panel is uniquely qualified to discuss these issues. It includes former Supreme Court Justice Bob Orr, former Attorney General and Secretary of State Rufus Edmisten, senior political analyst Chris Fitzsimon and syndicated columnist and author John Hood. Tom Campbell will moderate this week’s show.

Be sure to watch Friday night at 7:30 p.m. or Sunday at 6 a.m. on UNC-TVs main channel. You can watch NC SPIN on the North Carolina channel Friday night at 10 p.m., Saturday at 4 p.m. or Sunday at 10 a.m. And you can always watch the show on ncspin.com after 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
