  1. Chuck Watts says:

Look, Brad Crone was on for your show that aired just after the election. He characterized the vote counting in Durham as a “Dumpster Fire”. It turned out to be proper and accurate and ultimately decisive in the race. Today, he identified the Durham Committee on the Affairs of Black People as as the “Black Committee”. Get rid of the guy. He obviously is willing to opine negatively and ignorately about matters in Durham. Given the general lack of diversity on your panel in a state that is roughly made up of a quarter of black folks and and a half of folks who are women, you continuously have a panel that is 75-100% white male. So you have no need to use Brad Crone. I’ve watched the show pretty consistently and can recall only 2 or 3 black men and one or two white women ever being on the show. Frankly, even those diverse participants tend to be pretty main line and relatively conservative white women and black men. However, none of them seemed to be as ignored of that with which they pretend to be expert as brother Crone. You can do better.
