The intangible

The political powers that be up in Washington are telling everyone who’ll listen that Deborah Ross is too liberal to defeat Richard Burr but, still, Deborah Ross on a tear is a wonder to behold.

Senator Richard Burr is steady as it goes. He’s genial and laid back and accommodating to a fault while Deborah Ross is fiery and passionate and combative and – just like the Washington pundits say – all the mathematics add up in flawless columns that march across the page with relentless logic except the logic ignores the intangible: Imagine Deborah Ross on a roll in front of the TV cameras at a debate: It’d be worth the price of admission to buy a ticket to see.
