The SPIN this week

| September 6, 2018

With Labor Day behind us political campaigns are officially underway, but this year’s mid-term elections aren’t like any other and the NC SPIN panel discusses which races to watch, what the polls are showing and what we can expect.  We also look at why teachers say their situations are unacceptable. And should we privatize liquor sales in our state? There’s good discussion around this and it wouldn’t be NC SPIN if we didn’t ask the panel to tell us something we don’t know. Be sure to watch this week’s NC SPIN.

Our panel this week includes syndicated columnist and author John Hood, senior political analyst Chris Fitzsimon, political and communications consultant Brad Crone and the John Locke Foundation’s Becki Gray. Tom Campbell moderates this week’s program.

You can watch NC SPIN Friday night at 7:30 p.m. or Sunday afternoon at 12:300 on UNC TV. On the North Carolina channel NC SPIN airs at 10 p.m. Friday night, 4 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. on Sunday. Plus you can always watch the video stream of the entire program by visiting and clicking on the button “This week’s show.”

As always we thank you for watching balanced debate for the Old North State on NC SPIN.
