This week on NC SPIN

| February 7, 2019 | 0 Comments

It’s been quite a week. First the Super Bowl, then the State of the Union, followed by beautiful and warm days. This week’s NC SPIN will talk about some of the events shaping our week. We start with a discussion about the setting of a date for the new State Board of Elections to hear evidence concerning the 9th Congressional District. We next ask where the Department of Motor Vehicles will be moving, since the announced move to Rocky Mount is drawing so much opposition. Then we discuss a report showing that the Economic Development Partnership is falling short. Finally, we ask the panel to tell us something we don’t know.

This week’s panel includes former House Speaker Joe Mavretic, former State Senator Tamara Barringer, The Newsroom’s Chris Fitzsimon and John Hood, syndicated columnist and author. Tom Campbell moderates this week’s show.

Be sure to catch this information packed show on UNC-TV Friday night at 7:30 p.m. and again on Sunday afternoon at 12:30. Or you can watch it on the North Carolina Channel Friday night at 10 p.m., Saturday at 4:30 p.m. or Sunday at 10 a.m. Plus, you can stream it at your leisure on .
