Republican politicians in Washington announced they’d spend $71 million to elect Michael Whatley – that was six months ago.

This week newspaper headlines read: Whatley campaign goes dark. Ads cancelled.

Throwing up a smokescreen Michael’s campaign called cancelling ads ‘a pause.’

How bad is that news?

No ads three weeks before an election is toxic.

Michael hugged MAGA, hugged Trump, thought that was enough to get him elected to Senate.

Then he rounded the corner and came face to face with a brutal reality: He’s sinking, drowning.

Losing an election isn’t the end of the world.

It can turn out to be a blessing. Looking back at mistakes a man can learn a hard lesson. Then, Lord willing, start down a better road.
