A Price…

Frustrated, in a Minnesota courtroom a judge appointed by George Bush said ICE violated 96 court orders, added that should trouble anyone who cares about the rule of law.
The same day in Minnesota, Pam Bondi said, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: NOTHING will stop President Trump from enforcing the law.
But it’s hard to see disobeying court orders as enforcing the law.
Pride whispered, Bondi said ignoring the law is enforcing the law – but it turns out twisting facts has landed her, and Trump, in a hard place: When Trump beat Harris immigration was a lynchpin in his campaign – a reason he won. But now when Trump says the word immigration people remember ICE agents shooting a woman four times and shooting a man in the back.
A reason Trump won has evaporated. People who voted to elect Trump are now voting against Republicans.
Hearing Bondi say ‘nothing will stop Trump’ may have left Trump smiling – but boasts like that now hurt him, proving pride still comes with a price.
