After SPIN! "Question to Chris Fitzsimon - The liability in state government is the $25 billion unfunded liability in the State Health Plan. We’ve made promises to current and past state employees we don’t know how we are going to pay for. The Senate budget plan has a provision that would prevent retirees hired after 2015 from obtaining or buying health insurance for themselves or dependents through the State Health Plan. One of the reasons people choose to work for the state are the retirement plan and health insurance benefits. What impact will this Senate provision have if it prevails?"
