After SPIN! "Question to John Hood – Jenna Robinson from the Pope Center for Higher Education Policy wrote a column recently talking about changing requirements for admission to UNC universities. She says that over the past few years UNC has been increasing requirements for college entrance but the state has just changed one of the big variables by making big changes in the grading scale in schools. Whereas an A was given for grades of 93 and above the new requirements lower the grading scale to be 90 to 100. What impact will that have on our universities and our students?"
