After SPIN! "Question to Cash Michael – We hear and read a lot about the shrinking middle class and the expanding lower income sector in North Carolina. In 2013 our legislature eliminated the Earned Income Tax Credit that helped the working poor. This concept was originally begun under Ronald Reagan and has been praised by Republicans and Democrats. Why isn’t our legislature considering reinstating this and what impact is it having to not do so?"
