Norm Kelly says:
I guess libs just can't help themselves. Regardless of how many times they are told their basic premise is wrong, they continue to beat the same drum. Is this because they are trying to convince their low-information supporters that their misinformation is actually truth? Or are libs predisposed to not recognizing truth? Either way, it's a failing amongst libs.
No one is proposing allowing discrimination against gays. What is proposed is that government NOT force their religious beliefs upon others. Just like Christians are forced, by government, not to push our religion on others, we are asking for the same protections. You know, kinda like the US CONSTITUTION guarantees. And since it was so well ignored by the central planners, like the law signed by the always honorable, truthful, Bill Clinton back in the 1990's. I know that's ancient history for libs, cuz if a disaster perpetrated by libs as long as 4 weeks ago is irrelevant, then a law past in the pre-history of cable news is completely out of the question for relevance.
What ALL RELIGIONS will be protected from with the new laws, and should be protected from by the central planner Clinton law, is being FORCED by government to go against my religious beliefs. Militant gays believe their religious beliefs override ALL OTHER religious beliefs. Government agencies at both central planner and state levels have agreed with militant gays, and NO EXCUSE is valid for refusing to participate in gay weddings. No one is asking for permission to discriminate against gays when it comes to basic service in business. If a gay couple wants to eat pizza at the local joint, the owner/operator is not asking for permission to deny service because the couple is queer! (besides, how would the pizza operator know these are militant gays wanting pizza unless they start out with a declaration of their gayness before placing their order?!) If the couple then asks the pizza joint to cater their gay wedding, the owner should have the option to refuse the business. Why anyone would want pizza catered at their wedding celebration is beyond me, and I probably wouldn't attend the wedding for the choice of food, not for the gay aspect of it. But that's another story. Why is it that Christians are being specifically targeted by militant gays for discrimination charges? Why are militant gays NOT attacking muslim owned businesses, where gay-ness is actually cause for discrimination at the least!? It seems that only Christian owned businesses are being targeted. Jesus says to love the sinner but not the sin. So if I am FORCED BY LAW to participate in your sin, which you call gay marriage, then I am being forced to love the sinner as well as the sin. My FORCED participation is a tacit endorsement of your sin, which is AGAINST my religious beliefs. Yet, for some reason, militant gay religious beliefs trump MY Christian religious beliefs and you expect that government, forbidden by US Constitution and law, should FORCE me to participate in and endorse your religion in opposition to my religion. Like your religious beliefs over-rule, over-ride, my religious beliefs and you SHOULD be allowed to force me to participate. Is there not another pizza joint that would be more than happy for the business, advertising, by supporting and catering your gay wedding? The obvious and amazing answer is that YES there is another pizza joint that would be thrilled to support your militant gay religious beliefs and fall all over themselves to get your business. But that isn't the goal of militant gays now, is it!?
So, when libs start with a false premise, the rest of their argument is pointless. Facts are darn funny things. The average lib wouldn't know this because the average lib has so much trouble recognizing a fact when it's put before them. A false narrative is always much more meaningful for libs that they are determined to carry their false story for as long as possible, convincing as many of their followers as possible that the same lie repeated often enough suddenly becomes true. It worked for Bill. And it's starting to work for Billary! It's just such a shame that people who should know better continue to post drivel like what Gary has posted. We should be able to expect more & better!

Indeed and you should not be as judgmental of their understanding of their faith either.
