Trump wanted a new ballroom at the White House. So he tore down the East Wing. Started building a new ballroom.
A court ruled he couldn’t do that. Told him building the ballroom was up to Congress to decide; reminded him a president didn’t own the White House.
Trump shot back, posting he was president, he had the power to ‘beautify the White House.’
Then vanity whispered. And he couldn’t resist. Below the post he put AI pictures of himself with famous World War II generals George Patton and Douglas MacArthur.
Trump also tells us the ballroom won’t cost taxpayer’s a penny. But of course a ballrooms not free. It’s costing taxpayers millions.
No other president tried to do what Trump has done. It was a silly mistake.
Rolling over Congress, spending millions on a ballroom – one more sign we have an impaired driver at the wheel in the White House.
