Does Ukraine matter to us?
A lot of Americans like J.D. Vance say no, don’t lift a finger, or spend another dollar, to help Ukraine. But back when we were fighting George III for our freedom the French sailed a fleet into the Chesapeake Bay and helped George Washington win the battle of Yorktown. To save us.
Beyond that, doesn’t right and wrong matter to us even if it’s happening an ocean away in Ukraine?
A lot of folks say no. Here’s the problem with that: When wrong triumphs it doesn’t stop. It grows stronger, continues to spread. When Hitler, Napoleon, Tamerlane conquered other countries they didn’t stop.
