What if Cheney ran as an Independent? She’d lose. But she’d give Republicans who don’t like Trump a choice. It’d be brutal. Trump would pummel her. But if Chaney gets a block of Republican votes Trump loses – and Cheney ends his iron grip on the Republican Party.
