What matters most

Ron DeSantis’ SuperPac told him in the debate he should: 1) ‘Defend Trump’ and 2) ‘Take a sledgehammer to Vivek Ramaswamy.’ That was his political guru’s practical advice.

But there’s a more important question. Trump’s convinced Republicans Biden ‘stole the election.’ During the debate Pence or Christie or Hutchinson may ask Trump: You said 30,000 people who didn’t live in Georgia, or who were dead, voted in Georgia. Give us their names – show us your proof. That’s not practical politics – it’s a question about right versus wrong: It’s asking Trump, ‘Did you tell the truth?’ It’s also a question Trump hasn’t answered in almost three years.

Never Back Down is telling DeSantis to be a practical politician. But what matters most: Practical politics or right versus wrong?
